06 oléron
Another French island, this time located only 3km from France (and connected with the mainland by a bridge).
Oléron is the second largest French island, with about 21,000 inhabitans, but as Karine wrote in her postcard "in the summer, with tourists it can be around 300,000!" What a popular island!
Again - the stamps are fantastic, two more colours of the stamp that we've previously seen, and a beautiful big stamp with Madame de Pompadour. Thank you Karine, for this card and stamps!
