02 REUNION
I was actually so lucky to get not one, but two postcards from la Reunion. The second one shows us a view over the northern part of the island. How beautiful!

La Reunion is located about 700km east of Madagascar and 180km southwest of Mauritius. It has a total area of 2,511 km2; in the middle part of the island there are several volcanoes, like Piton de la Fournaise (2,631m a.s.l.) or Piton des Neiges (3,070m a.s.l.), while Reunion's cities (like the capital that we can see in the postcard) are located on the coast and the lowlands that surround it.
